Training and Awareness
Training
Your security is our priority!
APS secures your home, workplace, and environment with highly trained professional staff. To select our candidates, we set the standards high. We perform continuous training and assessment of employees to ensure that they conform to international safety standards.
Before selecting our employees, APS performs a full check of their criminal records and pre-employment records. We perform all related tests as well (psychological analysis, medical test approved by the company doctor). To be employed at APS, our candidates perform a written exam and a first aid and firefighting drill before being assigned to the position.
Even after employment, APS employees are subjected to continuous training so that they can stay in shape and ahead of current security threats.
Recommended Security Precautions
The first security precaution that you can take is “awareness”. Being aware of a potential risk allows you to respond in a fast and effective manner.
Another security precaution is to acknowledge areas of vulnerability and risk. A vulnerability assessment of all elements that might cause your system, community, or assets to be susceptible to damage should be performed.
Vulnerability could be caused by physical, economic, social, and environmental factors. These might include poor building design and construction, lack of awareness and information, or insufficient asset protection.
Being aware of potential risks allows you to take the right precautions to ensure safety of the community, assets, and systems. The targeted community should be familiar with fire exit routes and procedures. They should also be aware of places for expensive items, focus points, and belongings.
Reporting
Appropriate reporting should be carried out by asking yourself the following questions:
1) Who or what did you see?
2) When did this incident occur?
3) Where did it occur?
4) Why is it considered a threat/ suspicious?
In case you find anything suspicious, you should report it directly to us!
